Even after all this time
Thoughts of you still flow through my mind
Those green eyes of yours I loved so much
Your smile, your kiss, and the feel your touch.

The times we shared, the fun we had
Mostly happy, sometimes sad
You heard my laughter and even seen my tears
You were a part of my life for over two years.

Then your calls got less frequent, you were slipping away
There was nothing I could do, nothing I could say
I knew in my heart we would never really be together
For us the would never be a forever.

I moved on with my life trying to forget about you
That's something I just wasn't able to do
There's a part of me that just can't let go
What is it about you? I really don't know.

I know I cared for you more than I should
I may even have loved you though I know that's not good
For it hurts some times when I think about you
Then I smile remembering the fun things we'ld do.
